We've used blocks then different objects to work out fractions of numbers before making fraction walls to understand equivalent fractions.
We compared the clothing of rich and poor Tudor people, thinking about the materials used and their jobs or life-style. Then we made gingerbread people and dressed them up using pictures of Tudor clothes.
We found out about the daily life of Henry VIII - his hobbies, interests and work. Then we wrote a diary entry for the day as if we were him. We used 'aged' paper (painted with coffee and tea and baked in the oven) to make the paper look old.
Literacy Miss Glynn's Literacy group - To write a thank you letter to the staff (guide and driver) at Donana National Park for taking us round on the day, showing us the animals and plants, using the scopes, sharing information, and letting us use a specially protected area to eat our breakfast at. To help you with this, imagine yourself in their place. The staff gave us a lot of their time, energy, attention and knowledge to enable us to enjoy the day. Please ensure that you bring your purse back to school if you took it home. This is because we will attach beads on the drawstring to stop it leaving the holes at the top.
